ZYB is a free online service that lets people backup, manage and share their mobile’s data online. It lets you backups your phone’s contacts, calendar and messages online and even connects you with people you know.

ZYB as you know it now, is a backup solution for your mobile. It’s the best one out there, at least if you ask us or our users, but it is still just a backup. The new service is much more than that.

Right now, we have 7,783,075 contacts backed up on ZYB. 7,783,075 contacts that are stored in a secured location, but for the most part, only stored. At ZYB, we have always intended to bring the data to life. Our vision has always been to build a social network, centered around your mobile, and the contacts, calendar and photos in it. In the new version of ZYB, we have done just that.

ZYB allows you to:

• Manage mobile’s contacts and calendar online
• View SMS messages online.
• Restoring data from ZYB to any phone
• Share contacts and calendar with friends and family
• Import public calendars to mobile.
• Clean up contact list with the unique “merge contacts” feature
• Synchronize the phone’s contacts and calendars to other devices and applications (iPod, Outlook and others)

In order to synchronize your phone with the ZYB server, you need a WAP/GPRS data connection and SyncML enabled phone. To craete an account, simply enter your phone number, selecting your country, your phone model and your cellular operator. You will soon receive a confirmation code via SMS and then you can start transfer your mobile content on ZYB server. You don’t need to connect your phone to a computer or take out your SIM card, all you to do is to synchronize your phone over-the-air with ZYB.

ZYB is a cool site to share and manage your mobile data online without too much hassle. You will never lose your mobile phone contacts through theft or loss of your cellphones, or accidental deletion or sim card damage.
