Yapta’s browser add-on is now available for Firefox users. It allows you to easily make comparison and shop for the best fares on airline and travel websites. I have talked about this a little before in Yapta - Compare Air Fairs and Save Money.

When conducting a search for flights on a Yapta-supported website, a sidebar notepad will intelligently open to display the My Trips list. Each flight you tag will be added to the sidebar notepad, and Yapta will begin tracking prices.

With Yapta’s add-on for Firefox, you can:

• Instantly confirm that Yapta has begun tracking prices on the flights you’ve tagged
• Quickly compare flights you’ve tagged while shopping multiple airline and travel sites
• Get email alerts when prices drop. Get credits or refunds from the airlines.

The Yapta sidebar window will open only when you search for flights on a supported airline website. You can manually open the sidebar window (to view your MyTrips list) anytime by clicking the Yapta logo in your browser toolbar.

Click on the “Enable Yapta” buttons and the “Tag it with Yapta” buttons will appear in the search results.

Click “Tag it with Yapta” to choose the flights you’d like to track. Each flight you tag will be added to your My Trips list in the sidebar. You can easily compare prices from different websites and access detailed flight information.
