Check out Royale Noir Windows themes which discover by IStartedSomething. A cool windows themes which is a glossy dark coloured version from original Royale theme. i have installed the Royale Noir themes and and found it absolutely cool.

Windows XP Themes - Royale Noir

Instruction to install Royale Noir windows themes:-

  1. Download here.
  2. Unpack and copy to “c:\windows\resources\themes\royale noir”.
  3. Then click on luna.msstyles.
  4. Go to the Appearance tab and you will see that you have two choices under “Color Scheme.” Select Royale Noir.

    Yo, I installed it on my pc (as a visual style from istartedsomething) and it works PERFECTLY! I put it into a theme that is based on Need For Speed Underground 2. When you download the Royale Boir, it will be in a .zip archive.

    Correction, make that Noir (french for black) instead of boir (wrong spelling of french for wood)
