Windows XP Services Pack 1 - No more supports

  ADVERTISEMENTS

XP LogoMicrosoft is officially ending supporting Windows XP Services pack 1 and recommended all user to switch over to services pack 2 as soon as possible. The moves mean that no more security updates will issues and say goodbye for that version of Windows XP.

Windows XP SP1 was released on September 17, 2004, and Microsoft notes that it provided two years of support to SP1 customers since that time. The company traditionally offers only 12 months of support for previous service packs, but because SP2 was a major upgrade to Windows XP
i think isn’t huge deal either way since we expected MS will ends all Windows XP support if Windows Vista stabilies in future. Perhaps you can drop some comment about the ending of Windows Services pack 1 support ?
