Windows Live SkyDrive Now Offers 5GB Storage, Out Of Beta

Windows Live SkyDrive logoMicrosoft has increased the Windows Live SkyDrive space from 1GB to 5GB. It was 500MB back in August 2007, upgraded to 1GB of web space for storing and sharing files. Now with this 5 GB of free password protected online storage space, you can store any type of file. And the Beta tag is removed.

In the past, Microsoft Live SkyDrive available in US, UK and India only. Now it is available in 38 countries/regions: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Finland, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Turkey. Hope to see the Microsoft Live SkyDrive soon available in every major country of the world.
