Windows Media Player plugin now officially works on Firefox 2.0 web browser. Microsoft announced open Windows Media Player (WMP) plug-in for the Firefox 2.0 via its port 25 blog. This plugin is designed to support Window XP and Windows Vista only. Meanwhile, The Firefox plug-in can backwards compatible with Windows Media Player version 6.4.
