ADVERTISEMENTS
View Formatted Source is a Firefox extension to display formatted and color-coded source and optional CSS information for each element.
You can fold/unfold/hilite block elements (table, tr, td, div, span,…). Really cool feature: select a block level element of interest directly in the page and view it’s source! To help you to quickly analyze the source code you can view images directly from the source and add comments to folded block elements. The code view is based on the rendered document, so you will also see dynamically (by Javascript) created and modified html elements! Works also with frames and selected text.

View Formatted Source is now work with Firefox 2.0. Thanks to Felix Ritter, developer of this extension for the update.
This is a great tool for web developers. I guess most developers get frustrated in using Notepad when click on View Source. With this extension, the source code is well formatted and easy to read. It also shows you where is the CSS code, the url of the CSS and even the line the code.
View Formatted Source is available in English, German, Danish, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. Download the latest version of View Formatted Source from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/697/.

I went to the mozilla link you have in your post but only found a version for Firefox 1.5. How did you find a version for Firefox 2.0?
thanks
