Ubuntu 7.0.4 Feisty Fawn Released

ubuntulogoUbuntu 7.0.4 (Feisty Fawn) has officially been released and is available to download from the official Ubuntu website. Ubuntu 7.04 is the recommended best version of Ubuntu for anyone who wants to use the best of free software.

NetworkManagerUbuntu is distributed on 3 types of images:

  1. Desktop CD – install Ubuntu without changing your computer at all
  2. Server Install CD – install Ubuntu permanently on a computer for use as a server
  3. Alternate Install CD – allows you to perform certain specialist installations of Ubuntu

Ubuntu 7.0.4 comes with a lot of new features, including data migration from Windows, new and easier ways to install multimedia codecs, binary drivers, as well as networking improvements and of course, GNOME 2.18, the 2.6.20 kernel.
