Cerulean Studios has embedded an interactive preview site showing the latest features of upcoming Trillian Astra, an universal Windows-based multi-network instant messenger that lets users use one application to IM with people on a number of other IM systems. As we can see the upcoming Trillian Astra has improved a lot of changes in the IM program whereby integrate with some popular services like social widgets, RSS feeds and Web 2.0. But Trillian Astra still on alpha version and support windows only.

Cerulean say that Trillian Astra will integrate with Myspace IM since there is a lately demand on this services. Meanwhile, they also separated Google Talk from Jabber client and spitted the AIM and ICQ components apart.

The new Trillian Astra will allows user drag and drop up to 5 files simultaneous for file transfer purpose with interactive status bar. Meanwhile, Trillian will automatically zip the files up and send as zip files and images files . For Images, The images can be dropped immediately into the client window for file transfer as well.

Now, Trillian Astra can be accessible from multiple computers and will download your contact list every time you sign in to Astra at any computer. For contact list, Trillian Astra introduce a new ways to view and search contacts, faster access to your status and avatar settings, and improved organization capabilities make Trillian Astra’s contact list the best yet.

Web Presence

Each Trilian Astra user will get a personal web page with URL address which you can filled your info on Trillion Astra social networking site. Futhermore, the web pages also integrated with Web chat widget , Flickr , Music that you listening to, local weather and etc. Best of all, A mood widget also included whereby it can show your mood and attract some sympathy from your friends. All information on web pages can be sync with your Trillian Astra desktop application information.
