The Levelator is a java application that adjusts the audio levels within your podcast or other audio file for variations. It’s more than just a tool but a audio compressor, normalizer and limiter.

The Levelator allows you to just drag and drop a WAV or AIFF file onto the application window and it will automatically raises and equalizes the volume to perfect levels. The Levelator will create an output file with the same name as your original, but with the ending ‘output.wav’ or ‘output.aiff’. The original file will not be modified.

If you are recording podcast, conference call or any other spoken audio with more than 1 speaker, you should use Levelator to adjust the audio. You will have a much higher quality audio in a few seconds.
