TagandFile is a service from Cambridge Data that allows you to use your files more effectively by enabling you to Find crucial information faster using tags and search and Share data with others more easily.

With TagandFile, you can:

• Stored your files on Cambridge Data servers, removing worries about storage and backup.
• Download your files any time you want.
• All the previous versions are kept whenever you update a file so that you can get hold of them too if you want.
• Store notes with files so that you don’t lose track of your thoughts.
• Tag files with words. This allows you to easily see all the files that you or someone else with tagged with a particular word, and is a more flexible alternative than trying to organise your files into folders or directories.
• Share and give access to your files directly with people who are signed-up to TagandFile, or with others via their email address.

There is also a plugin. This plugin allows you to tag files directly from Windows Explorer. Once it is installed, you can right-click on any file in Windows and select ‘Tag in TFP …’. This provides a quick way to upload files without having to log into TagandFile in your web browser.
