Streber pm is an web based project management that code based netoffice concept. This web based project management system is totally open source project and it is contribute and update by a group of interested developers of which most use the project management tool for their own work purpose.

i quite interesting on streber´s user-rights system because it can visible what you want to show based on project role like client, manager and user. For example like :-

• Clients might only see published items and can only “suggest” or “request” new items which are seen and edited by project-managers.
• Normal team-members only see relevant and private items.

meanwhile, each project can be fine tuned for User-rights on team-member which each user sees a list of recent relevant changes: new tasks, members, comments. Beside that, other interest point is the inteface features where a content menu will pop-up when you click on the right hand mouse button.

Streber pm has been using mature object oriented programming with php5 and W3C standards like CSS2 and DOM-html to write up this project. i believe the code combination is awesome. meanwhile, the web based project management tools also support major web browser like Firefox, MS Internet Explorer 6, Konqueror, Safari and Opera.
