Microsoft has confirm the existence of Zune MP3 player on thurdays according betanews news. we able to view the initial player publicly beginning as early as the last week in August and with demonstrations of Zune MP3 player second week of September. meanwhile, Microsoft Chris Stephenson said “Under the Zune brand, we will deliver a family of hardware and software products, the first of which will be available this year,”

Beside that, Microsoft will supported by MSN Music Store and Urge, an online music store in partnership with MTV. This mean have great opportunity to allow consumers to explore and discover music together.

This time IPOD will really face a real competitor ( Microsoft Zune ). Just hope that the competition between them can drop down the prices. With competition, This will more benefit toward us.

    This whole thing reminds me of the very “real” yet sarcastic video spoof on what the iPod packaging would look like if Microsoft redesigned it. Watch it (if you have never seen it) and you may agree that this is not very far from the potential reality to come. While Microsoft is good at what it does, one thing it is not good at is simplicity and style. I hope they surprise us all on this new venture, but I fear the outcome will be more like the video.
