Google Docs has just added “save as PPT” feature to export Google Presentation documents as PowerPoint presentations (.ppt) so that you can edit them offline in Microsoft Powerpoint. Earlier it only allows you to import .ppt files to Google presentations and download the presentations (HTML, CSS and JPG files) as a ZIP. Add now you can save your presentations as PowerPoint files in addition to basic text and PDF. With this new feature you can edit your Google Presentation on Microsoft PowerPoint and vice versa anywhere, anytime even offline.

To export a presentation to your local computer:

1. Click the File menu of the presentation you’d like to export.
2. Select Save as PPT.
3. In the window that appears, click to save the file.

You can also save your Google Presentations as PDF or Text files, share them with your friends and family, or make them public.
