XP Scene, a DreamScene XP version that allow you display videos and other animations as the desktop background of the XP operating system. XP Scene perform similar functionality like DreamRender but it’s simple to use and you can perform DreamScene features on XP with three simple step.
How to turn DreamScene on XP with XP Scene
1. Select the video that should be used as the desktop background. Supported are avi, mpg and wmv videos. The resize mode can also be changed from “keep input aspect ratio” to “stretch video to display size” in this step.
2. Selecting the output folder where the html file and video will be saved in.
3. Starting the conversion.
4. Once finish file conversion, go to Computer Control Panel > Display Properties > Desktop > Background. Then browse to the location where the html file has been saved to and pick it from there.
Meanwhile, XP Scene application is portable, so you do not need installation. Plus more, running XP Scene might consumes lots of resources, so you can not worthwhile.
