Read It Later Firefox Extension

  ADVERTISEMENTS

Read It Later is a Firefox extension that allows you to save pages of interest to come back to it later. It eliminates cluttering of bookmarks with sites that are merely of a one-time interest. A commenter below (Chris) summed it up very well: “It’s a ’staging area’ for bookmarks.”

With Read It Later, you can create a reading list of interesting links where you can come back to read them at your leisure. It is similar to the Readeroo which lets you save articles you might not have the time to read now, and then access them later.

Read It Later features:

  • Save pages to a reading list to read when you have time
  • Offline Reading Mode to read the items you’ve saved for later on the plane, train, or anywhere
  • Randomly surf through your list or elect specific items
  • After reading, bookmark pages on your preferred bookmarking service
  • Right-click links to add to your list instead of following each link.

You can download it from the Read It Later website.
