PerDiemCo Location & Tracking is a free software for Windows Mobile 5 and 6 based devices. PerDiemCo software allows you to track your trip and lets others locate and follow you online. PerDiemCo gets the GPS latitude and longitude coordinates and plot it on the map. Virtual Earth Maps are used on the PDA while Google maps on a PC.

With the PerDiemCo software installed on your PDA or Phone, you can:

• Show your PDA or Phone’s current location on a Map - A map can be displayed on the PDA if an internet connection is available.
• Establish geographic Zones with entry & exit notification.
• Selectively send your current location as a Map to others.
• Provide ‘coded’ web access to your Maps.
• View location and tracking on the PDA or on a PC Map.
• Create Shared Zone and location maps on the PDA and on the map Server.
• Take photos & provide Location or Map based Viewing.

You can configure the real-time tracking interval for GPS data packets such as coordinates (latitude/longitude), speed, max speed, heading, altitude and GMT time to be sent to the server. Currently the database will keep only 500 records. When the limit is reached older records will be overwritten.

Zones are geographic boundaries defined by Latitude and Longitude coordinates. There are 3 types of zones, Red Rectangular Zone, Blue Rectangular Zone and Polygon Zone. These are useful for Start and Finish tracking inside a boundary and alert when someone enters or leaves a zone. An alert notification will be sent to Web Tracking Page.

You can remotely configure the GPS setting via SMS text messages. PerDiemCo will detect the double # signs SMS Commands embeded in an SMS Text Message body and execute it.

To use PerDiemCo, you will need to register to PerDiemCo service center to set up the database with your tracking information such as user name, PDA phone number, PDA type and email address. On-line registration is available at: http://www.perdiemco.com. You can control internet access to maps of your current location by creating a ‘PIN’ number for your location data.
