- Import and Export allow you to move your non-encrypted data from another password manager to PassPack, and vice versa.
- Backup and Restore allow you to keep encrypted copies of your data in PassPack format.
- Disposable Logins - protect your PassPack Account when using a public computer
- Packing Key - extra protection for PassPack
- Anti-Phishing Welcome Message - make sure you are connected to PassPack, and not to a malicious copycat website.
One of the great features of PassPack is the Packing Key. It is a extra protection for PassPack where only the user can encrypt and decrypt the passwords. Packing and unpacking your password is done in you web browser. Your Packing Key never travels over the internet. Only the locked Pack gets sent to the server over a Secure SSL Connection for safe storage.
PassPack uses US Government approved AES encryption over a secure SSL connection. The same architecture which enables Double Access Data Retrieval also allows for Automatic Updates which are quick and painless. Should AES encryption ever become “not enough”, your account will be automatically updated to evolve with the times.
PassPack gather NO personal information from you, you submit to them a user name, a strong password and a packing key only. It’s kind of anonymous and seems to be very secure.
