I wrote about Panda NanoScan in March, a fast online virus scanner and malware detection tool called Nanoscan that scans your computer for viruses, spyware, trojans and other threats in just a minute.
Yesterday I received an email from Carlos Arias, one of NanoScan’s team member, that Panda Software has made its popular online free virus/malware scanners, Nanoscan and Totalscan, compatible with Firefox.
We have ready the version compatible with Firefox. We spent some months ago trying to finding out the best way to make the first on-line antivirus tool developed for these users, and finally we did a native plug-in. It is as simple to use as always. So, when you go to www.nanoscan.com, the application will detect automatically if you have Firefox or not, and in this case, it is offering you the instructions to install the plug-in.
It is a good news to all Firefox users. To use NanoScan from Firefox browser, you will need to install a small plugin available on NanoScan and TotalScan page. Currently, NanoScan is capable of detecting more than 970,000 samples of known malware and thousands of new signature files being updated against new threats each week. All I can say is, try it for yourself and you’ll like it.
