Paint.net 3.0 is an image and photo manipulation program based on Windows XP and Windows 2003. Paint.net can say as the alternative free software if anyone needs something more powerful than Microsoft Paint that comes with Windows platform. Paint.net 3.0 features is great list which support layers, unlimited undo, special effect and wide variety powerfuls tools like Photoshop. i think photoshop should take a look on Paint.net 3.0.

one of the biggest improvements in the new version. Though it is labeled Alpha, 3.0 is quite stable and usable. It now has common color palette and even a common colors panels too. The formerly slow font-loading problem has been smoothed out, and the fonts show up quickly now.

The programming language used to create Paint.NET is C# and adopted the docked windows/palettes UI of Visual Studio .NET. i think paint.net truly a replacement for ms paint if dong simple editing and only a fraction of those actually BOUGHT photoshop and use it in some professional capacity.
