MixerCast is a free web based application currently in alpha that allows users to take video, photos, and sound from their computer or websites like YouTube and Flickr and create embeddable players to display them.

Mixercast is a free online service to create and share and track rich-media called mixercasts. Mixercast Wizard or Mixercast Designer can be used to create mixercasts. Mixercast Wizard provides an easy to use step by step method for creating simple mixercasts within minutes. Mixercast Designer is a web-based tool that combines the power of Flash media programming, collaborative photo and video editing and webcam capture in one unified platform to improve your mixercasts.

You can add media files from your computer:

1. Images: jpeg, gif, bmp, png, tif
2. Video: mov, flv, avi, mpeg1/4 with most common codecs
3. Audio: mp3

Once you’re done creating your Mixercast you can email it to friends. MixerCast also can be embedded on MySpace, a blog page or anywhere on the Web.

MixerCast lets you customize the look and feel with basic design templates. It is really easy to create outstanding Mixercasts and share it with others. All you need is Flash Player 8 or above to try out mixercast. Flash Player can be downloaded from Adobe.
