Microsoft finally released public tech preview on Photosynth , An impressive 3D and photo analysis tool which Photosynth is capable of taking hundreds of photographs and building a three-dimensional model in which users can “fly” through like a virtual world (scene-recognition technology).
On Microsoft Photosynth side, Photosynth has construct four pre-built collections demonstration for end user to browse. But the only IE 6.0 and 7.0 browser with a capable graphics card only can play the photosynth collection only. Nevertheless, Photosynth tech preview require internet bandwidth at least 128kbps and installation Active X component (5MB ) on your IE browser to view the photosynth collection successfully.

I quite impressive the photosynth tech preview which easy to navigate and understand without reading how to do anything. But seem like the photosynth is consuming a lot of memory and bandwidth. Meanwhile, the Photosynth developer team also hoping that user adding their own collection capability will be ready in future (perhaps few months).
