i think most important features on Meebo 1.0 is Pop outs where click on little
icon in your IM window to “pop†the window out of the main meebo browser (don’t forget to disable any pop-up blockers on your web browser at meebo.com). Since meebo supports so many IM services, it has neat up the buddy list with drag and drop list management features which you can move around your buddies between groups.Beside that, Meebo also allow Individual sign on and off whereby you can manage your screen names one-by-one. Just click on the drop-down menu in the left-hand console area.
On the languages support, Meebo has done a great job on Localization features where adding more languages support like Bangla, Creole, Esperanto, Iloko, Jawa, Latin, Malagasy, Marathi, Mongolian, Nias, Swiss German, Thai, Uzbek support. Furthermore, they also translated other parts of the UI such as buttons, menus, and links. This language updates dynamically based upon your location and preference too.
Other minor improvements include the addition of AIM profiles, a facelift for the chat logs and a much faster experience overall on Meebo IM.
Nevertheless, Meebo IM has come a long way and pretty good improvement on their features. And Meebo certainly looks one of the more promising web-based IM clients at the moment comapare other same services like KoolIM and e-buddy.
