Mango Languages is a new web 2.0 service that teaches people how to speak foreign languages. It has just launched in beta. There are 11 languages including Spanish, Russian, French, Italian, Mandarin Chinese, German, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Greek, and English.

To start learning a new language, go to www.trymango.com/login.php and login with your email address. Select the language course you want to learn, and then start learning. There are about 100 lessons for each language.

Mango uses native-speaker dialogs to assist you in correctly pronunciating the language you’re learning. Pointing your mouse to the words or phrases will pop up a pronunciation guide. You can always use the sound icon to repeat the words or phrases to learn the correct pronunciation. Mango also shows the meaning of the words in different colors to help expand your vocabulary.
