Jedi Concentrate is a free and opensource windows application that fades out every part of the screen that does not belong to the active window. Jedi Concentrate is help you focus on the active windows application.

After run Jedi Concentrate on your hard drive, you can simple use a quick keyboard shortcut (F12) activates Jedi Concentrate, Once Jedi Concentrate has been started you see its icon in the system tray. Then Jedi Concentrate will fading your inactive windows to black and focus active windows application only. meanwhile, you can control the fade speed on the program setting. C

Ghoster which is a similar freeware program that, just like Jedi Concentrate, does not need to be installed. However, I find it to be much better because when you switch windows it will constantly dim anything in the background. One option that I changed right away with this is the “showontop” option otherwise the taskbar is always dimmed as well

I think Jedi Concentrate is worth to download and try the program because there is no installation required.… and if you don’t like it you can delete it with no harm done.
