Jaxtr is a VoIP services that allows social networking site and blogs visitor to make calls to any landlines phone or mobile phone for free. Jaxtr will bypasses all the headsets and hybrid phones by linking up tradition phones on Web 2.0 via VoIP and a call-back system. It will embedded some code ( like widget ) in your social profiles on MySpace, Friendster, hi5, Piczo for allow others to connect or call you.

So, Jaxtr will work like this scenario:-
your visitor enters his phone number and receives a call. Once he picks up, your phone starts ringing, and the call is connected. If you don’t answer, Jaxtr will take a voicemail message, and there are tools to block unwanted callers or only allow certain friends to call.

Beside that, You can put link in an e-mail signature too for other to call you up if you don’t want the embedding code on your profiles.

I personally think Jaxtr has done a great job integrate VoIP services on Social way and blogs. It can provides local phone numbers that allow callers to take advantage of the cost benefit of VoIP and eliminating international long distance charges. Twenty-nine national markets in Europe, the Americas and Asia are served.

Anyway, Jaxtr still in private beta version right now and i not yet test out Jaxtr services. You can sign up for the private beta become their tester . If you do get into the beta to try out Jaxtr, let me know what is your opinion on this services?
