I’m sure it works… Just make sure you have an internet connection before using this tool.

I dropped in on an old busted Win2K Pro Dell craptop that didn’t like its own modular CD drive. It installed some boot options and asked for a reboot. When it was booting up it asked me if I wanted to boot into the Ubuntu 6.06 installer or Win2K. I chose Ubuntu and it went into what looked liked the minimal CD which downloads all of the current packages and installs them. I’ve used the minimal CD before and like how it works out. I couldn’t get this to work but I’m sure it wasn’t due to poor programing… My wireless card wasn’t supported so I couldn’t download any packages.

i intalled instlux earlier today and i seem to me like with a wifi connection, you will not be able to download the Ubuntu/Suse iso while you are in instlux. You will need to connect an RJ35 to you netcard.
While i was in the middle of the installing my Suse, I realize that instlux was trying to partition my harddrive in some weird way. Im not sure if you I will still have my window after installing Suse, so im now looking for a way to uninstall instlux. I’m not even given an option to get back into windows, so thats just making it worst. In brief, i advice everyone to backup before using this. ESPECIALLY if you are using vista.
If anyone has a solution to getting raid of instlux, utorrentes@gmail.com

    Peace.
