ImgBurn is a freeware that can write most types of CD/DVD images and it supports all the latest writers (including booktype / bitsetting on many of the major ones - i.e. BenQ, LiteOn, NEC, Plextor, Sony).

ImgBurn is compatible with Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 and Windows Vista build 5600 and 5728. Nero 7 is not compatible with Windows Vista .

“Build” mode allowing you to create ISO images from files on your hard drive, or burn them directly to a disc. ImgBurn can create a DVD MDS file, erase CD-RW, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, close out session of disc for rewriteable media, change volume label of existing .iso image, display regional code information, change book type and much more.
