Google announced their purchase of Measure Map, a great statistics tool for bloggers. Rumors say that Google purchasing Measure Map for launching a lighter weight of statistics service for blogs. i also wondering why would Google buy Measure Map since they already had Google Analytics?

As i am a Google Analytics users, i found out the Google Analytics features is too heavy for us (blogger) and has a bunch of statistics in it that bloggers don’t really need.

i think the reason of purchasing of Measure Map is providing blogger a lighter weight specialized statistics with all simple information that blogger required only. That why Google purchasing Measure Map.

Now, Measuremap.org and Measuremap.net also point to Google.com. This point likely prove Google has been starting work out Google measure map services
From this information view, is Google going to launch the services soon ? Who Knows……
