Googlehas launches a new Google earth 4 beta which includes with few interest features like:-

• Support “textured” 3D buildings using models created by SketchUp, so the 3D images look more realistic with fast compression and caching services.
• Navigation icon improvement - new icons for pushpins and user palette.
• An updated KML format that allows sharing of partial information.
• Multiple languages support on Google Earth 4 like French, Italian, German, and Spanish.
• Full screen mode now allows searching (press “/” to search).
• Supported three major platform like Mac , Linux and Windows
• Google Earth’s index of high-resolution imagery has been increased by four times. One third of the world’s population will have sub-meter high-resolution imagery.
• Google Maps API was also updated: you can now geocode addresses and use KML files in Google Maps to share geographic information. There’s also Google Maps for Enterprise, that includes enterprise quality support and the ability to integrate maps into intranet applications.
• New path and polygon drawing tools which previously available on Google Earth PRO edition only.

The latest MAC, Linux and Windows version of Google Earth is available download here.One things that annoying me on Google earth 4 is Google is trying prefix the default search engine homepage again during installation period.
