Windows vista logoMicrosoft is giving away free or discounted upgrade to Windows Vista if you start purchasing any new Windows XP based computer anytime starting tomorrow till March 15, 2007. On this promotion,you can enjoy or qualify for the Express Upgrade to Windows Vista program from Microsoft that lets you upgrade your Windows XP OS to Vista when it gets available in January 2007.

On this program, Microsoft has teamed up with PC vendors ( Dell, HP, Lenova, NEC, Toshiba, Fujitsu and etc )to offer free Vista Upgrade coupons to PC buyers worldwide to encourage them to buy a Vista-capable PC as early as possible. However, No all computer is qualify. Only those computers that met the Windows Vista system requirements for running Vista (Windows Vista Capable) will be eligible for the free coupons for the above-mentioned promotion.

According to CRN, the free Windows Vista upgrade or discounted upgrade coupons will be included in each Windows XP SKU for users with entitlement, as part of Windows Vista Technology Upgrade Program. Windows XP Professional and Windows Media Center users can upgrade to Windows Vista for free, while Windows XP Home Edition users have to pay a fees of US$49 and US$79 respectively to upgrade to Windows Vista Home Basic Edition and Windows Vista Home Premium Edition. Shipping, delivery and fulfillment charges apply though.

It is probably the best time to buy a Windows XP based computer with Windows Vista capable..

    Im David A Fan of Microsoft I have my Own Windows Xp Home Edition Operating system. All I like is to upgrade to Windows Vista.
    I want also A microsoft office 2007 installer..
