McAfee virus scan plus, The latest security package that offers by AOL. Previous one year, AOL has offer free AOL Anti Virus Shield now to the public. But now, AOL discontinue their partnership with Kaspersky anti virus software and change their free anti virus software offer to McAfee anti virus scan plus. Meanwhile, The current Active Virus Shield website also explains that Active Virus Shield is no longer available, and has instead been replaced with a Special McAfee Virus Scan Plus suite on their AOL safety pages.
The McAfee Virus Scan Plus security package that offers by AOL still remain free of charge but one requirement is AOL membership required. The free mcfee virus scan plus is an all-in-one security package which bundles with antivirus, firewall, and anti-spyware. Meanwhile, The free anti virus software can support Windows Vista , XP and 2000. This McAfee VirusScan Plus Special Edition can consider better security package to Active Virus Shield because it has spyware protection and firewall. As for Active Virus Shield, it only provides protection against virus. However, The free McAfee virus scan plus still using the same interface like the Active Shield Virus.
I never used McAfee products before and not sure how good it is in detecting virus compared to Kaspersky. However, This free anti virus suite from AOL for sure worth to try out and download which the retail prices for McAfe Virus Scan Plus is 39.99 USD.

After updating, install the latest version (with more options like trusted zone and Vista compatible, you don’t have to uninstall, the upgrade works perfect) from

the license key will finish in one year. How can you renew the license after the year?

It is almost impossible to register at AOL… I’ve tried to get the phone number and email address right for like 15 minutes, and then their server is down, and you cannot register. It must be a very-very good antivirus, to worth this.

I have tried for days to renew my free AOL mcafee with no success.

Every time I try to take advantage of your offer, I have a problem with my e-mail address. I have had it for years and have only the one address. I cannot change it as I am a Notary Public and have it on numerous paid web sites. If you find my e-mail already used, it could only be because I have used it. It is comprised of my name and initials. No one else has it.
