The Ficlets site is about writing. A ficlet is a short story that enables you to collaborate with the world. Ficlets are shorter than short stories, minimum 64 characters and maximum 1024 characters.

People may read, comment on and post short pieces of fiction, and those fiction pieces may then be added to by other people. If you find a ficlet interesting, you can always write a sequel or prequel as well.

All ficlets are covered under Creative Commons, which means that if you wrote it, you own it. Period. This is fun to boost your creativity and to immerse yourself in the experience of writing your thoughts into words.
