    Hello,

    I tried downloading the Windows MediaPlayer Beta 2 onto my computer. Unfortunately after the download I did not get the extra features such as the VidZOne and so on. So I am thinking of removing the WMP11 already downloaded on my cpu. But am afraid that when I do this I might also remove a codec which I had to download from a friends computer as it enables me to play DVD’s.

    Kindly advise me.

    Thank you.

    Kind Regards

    @Chinedu

    The codec will not been removed if you remove WMP11. Because the Codec software register or component files still remain in your windows system and you can use other media player to play DVDs
