Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2007, is free desktop software that can be downloaded at no cost. It’s an updated version of the previous Office Small Business Accounting 2006 that was sold for $179 USD. As a higher end version of Microsoft Accounting 2007 will be sale early of next year for $149USD.

The best part on Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2007 is integrated with eBay and Paypal payment system into the accounting system. Furthermore, it does supposedly have great connection abilities with Outlook 2007, and a strong set of accounting tools like customizable reports, inventory and enhanced accountant features that support up to five currencies.



Meanwhile, Microsoft also bundled seven third party services which are available for additional fees. One clarification: Office Accounting Express isn’t a trial, it’s a perpetual, free product. Also, the download file size has been reduced to around 200MB.

This is impressive coming from microsoft. Are we sure there is no catch somewhere? There is no free lunch in business!
