Microsoft has released beta version of Microsoft Expression Web Beta 1 ( formerly Expression Web Designer ) on their Expression product Website. Now Microsoft lets you download free the Expression web beta for web development trial run.

Microsoft Expression Web Beta 1 is a professional web design tool similiar like Macromedia DreamWeaver. But it’s primarily supports XML, ASP.NET,XHTML and CSS 1.0/2.0/2.1 only. Microsoft Expression web beta also contains ASP.NET 2.0 server controls and support common server controls with Visual Studio 2005. But if server controls are used then the host must support the .NET 2.0 framework.

You just need a Window XP Home SP 2 or higher and installed with .net framework 2.0 to run the Microsoft Expression Web Beta. meanwhile, the hardware specification much more easier to achieve which it need a 233 MHz or higher processor, 128 MB of RAM or higher and 400 MB of available hard disk space only.

Myself is a php programmer and find out it doesn’t work out too well for me.
