DesktopInfo is a small application that displays system information on your desktop. It displays information about system facts like Uptime, CPU, Memory, Ethernet, DiskIO and more. DesktopInfo is customizable, you can modify the desktopinfo.ini file to control the position the display or change it’s appearance and position the display. DesktopInfo can also monitor files and folders size changes, write time or version number and registry keys or values changes.

DesktopInfo is compatible with Windows operating systems including Windows XP, Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista and Windows 7. You can download DesktopInfo from here. You just need to unzip and run the application. It appears with transparent text on your desktop wallpaper and uses very little memory.
