BitLet , A web-based BitTorrent without client that let you performs download torrent files similar like uTorrent. To run this Bitlet web based bit torrent, all you need is install the latest Java Virtual Machine plugin from Sun.
Then just copy and paste the torrent metafile address (e.g. http://www.blah.org/file.torrent ) in the input box at http//www.bitlet.org/ and press the “Download torrent” button. Then you will see an pop up showing your torrent files downloading progress status. Meanwhile, the led indicates the status of the connection of torrent files.

Here’s a quick explanation (borrowed from the Azureus project’s web site) of what is the meaning of those small and cute icons.
- Red - (No connection enstablished) – means that you’re not connected to any peer
- Yellow – (No incoming connections received) – means that the tracker is ok, you’re connected to peers, but you don’t have any remote connection (on ports 6881-6889). You may have a NAT problem if your torrents stay on yellow status all the time
- Green – (Bitlet up and running) – means that everything is going fine
Personally i think BitLet web based torrent downloader is a great services and perfect tools for those is not familiar with bittornet. Nevertheless, there is no installation required for bittorrent client application on your working environment or school. However, BitLet is a great addition web tools if you not frequent downloading torrent files.
