AmiProject – Open and Share Microsoft Project (.mpp) File Online

AmiProject is an online project management viewer that allows you to view Microsoft Project (.mpp) files from a computer that does not have Microsoft Office Project installed. It also allows you to share your project with friends and colleagues. To share your project files, just open it in AmiProject and click File/Share. You will receive an unique short URL which you can share.

AmiProject features:

  • View files of the following versions: Microsoft Project 2007, 2003 and 2002.
  • Gantt Chart view
  • Task Information window with all details about tasks
  • Resizable columns
  • Movable table/chart splitter

It has very similar interface to actual Microsoft Project software including Gantt Chart view and task information windows with Indicator, Task Name, Duration, Start, Finish, Predecessor and Resource Names. It supports Microsoft Project 2002, 2003 and 2007 files.

    I find ValleySpeak Project Server to be very useful. This Microsoft project viewer is available  with robust project management feature and centralized project management capabilities.

    If you need more than just a Gantt chart view try MOOS Project Viewer. It is a free Microsoft Project viewer that will give you more views: Tracking Gantt, Resource sheet, Resource usage, Task usage. And even better it is running on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux:
